My name is Makaila Lewy. I’ve been cheering with Maryland Twisters since 2012, during which time I was on the following teams: Little Winds, Chill, Lightning, and Sirens. I started as a helper with Eye of the Storm in 2015, and then joined the coaching staff in the 2022-2023 season. Coaching/helping Eye has brought me so much joy! There is nothing this team can’t do.
When I graduated high school in 2022, I began the next chapter of my cheerleading career at Towson University, and continued through the 2024 season.
I’m currently studying Early Education and Special Education at Towson where I should earn my degree in 2026.
